Description

The General Services Administration (GSA) has released the Fiscal Year 2027 per diem rates to reimburse Federal employees for subsistence expenses incurred during official travel within the continental United States (CONUS). This notice announces the GSA Per Diem Bulletin FTR 27-01, which sets the per diem reimbursement rates effective from October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027. The standard lodging per diem rate is increased by $3 to $113, and 295 non-standard areas will continue to receive a maximum lodging allowance higher than the standard rate. The meals and incidental expenses (M&IE) reimbursement rate tiers remain at $68 and $92, with the standard M&IE rate at $68. Agencies may request GSA to review per diem rates for specific locations if the rates are insufficient to meet necessary expenses.
