The City of Sacramento's Department of Public Works is seeking qualified contractors to provide comprehensive Streetscapes Maintenance Services for the Northborough area. - Scope of Work: - General horticultural maintenance, including turf mowing, fertilization, edging, aeration, pruning, and weed abatement - Integrated pest management and debris/trash removal - Operation, monitoring, and repair of manual and automatic irrigation systems - Replacement of plant materials as needed - Maintenance covers approximately 234,678 sq ft (5.39 acres) across nine site locations - Service Locations: - Club Center @ Northborough (62,485 sq ft) - Creekside 1 & 2 (27,284 sq ft) - Dalhart Way (4,976 sq ft) - Macon Drive Medians (14,875 sq ft) - Maybrook Tree Wells (6 trees) - Natomas Park Commons (6,490 sq ft) - Northborough Drive (97,735 sq ft) - Ryland Garden (12,805 sq ft) - West North Park Drive (7,830 sq ft) - Contractor Requirements: - Must hold a California C27 landscape contractor license - Minimum two years’ experience in large-scale commercial or government landscape maintenance - No subcontracting of maintenance or pesticide application permitted - Must provide competent management and field supervision - Adherence to local, county, and state regulations, including water quality and COVID-19 safety protocols - Compliance with sustainability practices and detailed performance specifications - Service Line Items: - General gardening crew rates - Specialty irrigation technician rates (with/without helper) - Urgent response call-out services - Contract Details: - Two-year contract, not to exceed $249,999 - Monthly scheduled maintenance at each site; City may add or remove locations - Repair crew services available on an as-needed basis - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; focus is on service delivery and compliance with performance standards.
