Description
The City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida is soliciting proposals from licensed and experienced towing firms for the removal, impounding, and storage of various vehicles including junk, abandoned, illegally parked, non-drivable, and confiscated vehicles within the city or as directed by the Police Department. The city currently contracts with two towing companies and intends to enter agreements with one or more proposers to provide 24-hour towing services on a month-to-month rotating basis, potentially contracting with up to four companies. The towing firms must provide priority services during emergencies such as floods and hurricanes and charge rates in accordance with Miami-Dade County maximum rates.
