This opportunity is for the U.S. Department of Commerce, National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), Institute for Telecommunication Sciences (ITS), to rebuild and upgrade the fiber optic network at the Table Mountain Field Site in Longmont, Colorado. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of Commerce - National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) - Institute for Telecommunication Sciences (ITS) - Scope of Work: - Replace approximately 18 km of armored single mode fiber optic cable (432 fibers) - Connect multiple buildings and field sites in a directional ring configuration - Install outside plant boxes, cabinets, pedestals, signage/markers, fiber distribution bays, and CAT 6A networking cable - Provide fiber optic transceivers and core Cisco pass-through switches with 200G/25G optics - Perform network and civil engineering design, construction, installation, project management, and closeout - Comprehensive testing, as-built documentation, and post-installation support - Products/Services Requested: - Armored single mode fiber optic cable (approx. 18 km, 432 fibers) - Outside plant boxes/cabinets, pedestals, signage/markers, fiber distribution bays - Fiber optic transceivers, electrical/fiber optic jumper cables - Core Cisco pass-through switches with 200G/25G optics - CAT 6A networking cable for all workstations - Telecommunications network and civil engineering design - Construction and installation services - Project management and closeout - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Network must support data transmission rates exceeding 10 Gbps - 90-day on-site troubleshooting and repair period post-installation acceptance - Phone support for one year or duration of commercial warranty (whichever is longer) - Small business set aside - OEMs Mentioned: - Cisco (for core switches) - No specific part numbers or quantities for most items except for the fiber cable (approx. 18 km, 432 fibers) - All technical details and requirements are in the Statement of Work and attachments
