The U.S. Army 1st Global Field Medical Laboratory (GFML) is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive maintenance, calibration, repair, and sustainment services for a range of specialized laboratory and analytical equipment. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army, 1st Global Field Medical Laboratory (GFML) - Office: XO, 1st Global Field Medical Laboratory - Equipment Covered: - DMC 3000 Electronic Personal Dosimeter (radiation detection) - Portable Liquid Scintillation & Gamma Counter (425-004) - Handheld X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometer / Metal Alloy Analyzer (5050000) - MultiRAE Pro Portable Multi-Threat Monitor (GVMCB3-A1C123EAM1) - Kestrel Handheld Wind/Weather Meter Replacement Impeller (0843) - HEPA-Filtered PCR Chamber / Still Air Enclosure (825-PCR/HEPA Chamber) - Dry Air & Nitrogen Laboratory Gas Generator (G7-010W) - CRYOTOME Microtome (A78900004) - Precision Laboratory Balances / Digital Analytical Scales (MS3002S, XS64) - Services Requested: - Preventative maintenance and annual servicing (inspection, testing, OEM parts replacement) - Corrective repairs (troubleshooting, OEM-approved parts, post-repair validation, detailed reporting) - Notable Requirements: - Strict compliance with OEM specifications for all maintenance and repairs - Use of OEM-approved replacement parts - Rapid response for repairs to maximize equipment uptime - Detailed service and repair reporting - Period of Performance: - One base year with four option years (up to five years total) - No specific OEMs or vendors are named, but OEM compliance is emphasized throughout.

Description

The purpose of this Statement of Objectives (SOO) is to obtain comprehensive maintenance, calibration, repair, and sustainment services for specialized laboratory and analytical equipment in support of the 1st GFML. The objective is to maximize equipment availability, ensure continuous analytical precision, and extend the lifecycle of the supported devices through proactive preventative maintenance, certified calibration, and responsive corrective repair for the GFML for up to five (5) years.  See Attachment SOO_GFML_Service Contract.
