Description

The Department of National Defence (DND) requires the development of a Canadian-designed, remotely controlled, and autonomous mine countermeasures (MCM) uncrewed surface vehicle (USV) capable of surveying the ocean floor to detect, locate, and identify underwater mines. The contract supports an iterative and incremental approach to meet Canada’s operational needs. This solicitation is open to all current Supply Arrangement holders across all streams of the Defence Drone Initiative (DDI) and is subject to the Policy on Prioritizing Canadian Suppliers and Content.
