The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is seeking proposals for a comprehensive Enterprise Wide Area Network (WAN) and Local Area Network (LAN) services contract to support connectivity across all FDIC locations nationwide. - Government Buyer: - Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) - Acquisition Services Branch (ASB), Division of Administration (DOA) - Scope of Services: - Colocation services with secure private cages and cabinets at major metro areas (Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington DC, New York, Atlanta, Denver, Ashburn, Silicon Valley) - Direct cloud and internet connectivity at four hub locations with redundant 20 GB circuits and unlimited virtual connections - Seventeen 10G backbone circuits for hub-and-spoke model, with redundancy and diverse fiber paths - Numerous 1 Gbps and 10 Gbps office connectivity circuits linking customer locations to colocation sites - Vendor services for WAN backbone, fabric, and internet bandwidth at 10 Gbps and 2x10 Gbps - Key Personnel Requirements: - Project Manager responsible for all circuits, locations, and service delivery - Circuit Vendor Coordination Lead for managing lifecycle and coordination across carriers - Period of Performance: - 15-year contract: 5-year base period plus two 5-year option periods - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Secure, scalable colocation infrastructure at multiple sites - Redundant and diverse fiber paths for backbone and office connectivity - Direct cloud interconnects and high-capacity internet circuits - Monthly pricing for base and option periods - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; open to providers capable of delivering large-scale WAN/LAN and colocation solutions - Estimated Contract Value: - Likely in the range of $50,000,000 to $200,000,000, given the nationwide scope, high-capacity circuits, and 15-year duration - Potential Competitors: - Major telecom and colocation providers such as AT&T, Verizon, Lumen Technologies, Equinix, Digital Realty, and Zayo - Primary Products/Services Requested: - Private cages and cabinets, backbone circuits, cloud interconnects, internet circuits, office connectivity circuits, WAN backbone, fabric, and vendor services - Competing Products/Solutions: - Equinix colocation and cloud interconnect, Digital Realty data center services, AT&T/Verizon/Lumen WAN and backbone circuits, Zayo fiber and connectivity solutions
Description
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation invites you to submit a proposal for the Enterprise Wide Area Network (WAN) and Local Area Network (LAN) Services Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) and its associated Task Orders Requirement. The BOA Pricing Enterprise WAN Workbook and Enterprise WAN Task Orders 1 – 3 Spreadsheet is within the attached RFP, but we require all offerors to complete the BOA Pricing Enterprise WAN Workbook and Enterprise WAN Task Orders 1 - 3 Excel Worksheet files (separate attachments to this contract opportunity). Please follow ALL instructions when completing the workbooks. The RFP is non-transferable, unless approved in advance by the Contracting Officer. Please refer to the RFP package for all the requirements of this acquisition.
Please be sure to clearly indicate on the proposal response all contact information (i.e. account representative name, email addresses and phone numbers). Offerors shall pay particular attention to Section 7.3.1-06 “Identification and Delivery of Proposals-March 2009” of the RFP for specific proposal submission instructions.

Any missing volumes or required information in the proposal submission may be considered non-responsive.
