The Department of Veterans Affairs, Portland VA Medical Center, is soliciting quotes for a BetterBuilt R640 Series Cart and Utensil Washer, or an equivalent product, to support Nutrition & Food Services operations. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs, Portland VA Medical Center, Network Contracting Office 20 - OEMs and Vendors: - BetterBuilt (OEM) - Vendors must be OEMs, authorized distributors, or authorized resellers (with authorization letter) - Products Requested: - BetterBuilt R640 Series Cart and Utensil Washer (Model R640 #706-00001), quantity: 1 - Interior Tilt Ramp (Lift out) ITR6 (part number 206-5001), quantity: 1 - Cabinet Option: Two doors with dual enlarged viewing windows, quantity: 1 - Seismic Option: Ability to seismic anchor, quantity: 1 - Spray System Option: Automatic Tilt Floor, quantity: 1 - Control Option: Low voltage surge protection, quantity: 1 - Control Option: EEPROM-PLC and touchscreen program backup copy (Omron Controls only), quantity: 1 - Shipping/Freight charges, quantity: 1 - Services Requested: - Installation and removal/disposal of previous cart and utensil washer - Equipment training for Nutrition & Food Services staff - Unique/Notable Requirements: - "Brand name or equal" procurement: Equivalent products must meet all salient characteristics (dimensions, pit-mounted design, double doors, control/safety features) - Vendors must provide product literature demonstrating compliance - Seismic anchoring and advanced control options required - Delivery, installation, and training included - Period of Performance: - 90 days after receipt of order (ARO)

Description

1) The Request for Quote is for the Purchase of one (1) Brand Name or Equal BetterBuilt R640 Cart & Untensil Washer to Include: Delivery, Installation & removal/disposal of Current cart & utensil washer.

2) Any equal items must meet all the items listed in the Price/Cost schedule and all salient characteristics provided in section B.4 of this solicitation.

3) For a responsive quote, submit below items:

- Completed & Signed 1449 (Attached Document 36C26026Q0346)

- Completed quote on Price/Cost Schedule

- Description and literature that show your equal item meets all the listed salient characteristics.

- Completed 52.225-6 TRADE AGREEMENTS CERTIFICATE if applicable

4) Vendor shall be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), authorized distributor or authorized reseller for the proposed equipment/system, verified by an authorization Letter.

5) Responses are due by the date/time listed in block 8.
