This opportunity from the U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) seeks qualified contractors to overhaul elevator booster assemblies for HC-130J aircraft. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Coast Guard, Aviation Logistics Center (ALC), Long-Range Surveillance Product Line Division (LRS) - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs named; overhaul must meet OEM specifications - Products/Services Requested: - Elevator Booster Assembly (NSN 1680-01-472-5564, P/N 374461-11) - 2 units for overhaul - Additional units may be included if deemed Beyond Economic Repair or No Fault Found - Overhaul services include teardown, inspection, rework/replacement, assembly, testing, corrosion removal, mandated parts replacement, and airworthiness certification - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contractor must be FAA 145 Repair Center or OEM Authorized Repair Center - Overhaul must use approved test jigs and restore components to Ready-for-Issue condition - 12-month warranty required - Monthly status reports and detailed replacement parts lists - 60-day turnaround after receipt of components - Subcontractor involvement must be disclosed - No drawings, specifications, or schematics provided by the agency

Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.201, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.  Solicitation number 70Z03826QH0000107 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).  This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect as of April 27, 2026, IAW the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO).

The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 336413.  The small business size standard is 1,250. This is an unrestricted requirement.   All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. 

It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded on a competitive basis as a result of this synopsis/solicitation for the items found on Attachment 3 – SCHEDULE - 70Z03826QH0000107. Contractors that have the expertise and required capabilities to provide these items are invited to submit offers in accordance with the requirements stipulated in this solicitation.
