Description

The Illinois Department of Human Services (DHS) is soliciting bids for a full-time Medical Director at the Choate Center located at 1000 North Main Street, Anna, IL. The Medical Director will provide coverage for the I/DD Forensics 40 bed unit and the DBHR 75 bed units, with the latter expected to be phased out by March 2027. The contractor must be a board-certified Psychiatrist and will assist in maintaining certifications from the Joint Commission and IDPH. Responsibilities include supervision of mid-level providers, oversight of patient care, attending administrative and patient care meetings, and carrying a small caseload as needed.
