Description

The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA), a division of the Minnesota Department of Public Safety (DPS), is requesting proposals from qualified responders to provide training for peace officers, law enforcement staff and leadership, and for various BCA programs and conferences. The contracts will create the BCA Educator Master Contract Program, a bank of educators capable of teaching topics or elements of courses, programs, and conferences required for BCA's statutory training mission. The program must meet BCA's statutory requirement under Minnesota Statutes A7 626.848 to provide training for peace officers, with courses corresponding to officers' powers, duties, use of approved equipment, and latest techniques for detection, identification, and apprehension of criminals.
