FCC Florence, part of the Federal Bureau of Prisons, is soliciting weekly deliveries of fresh, pan-baked, seedless whole wheat bread products for fiscal year 2027, quarter 1. - Government Buyer: - Federal Bureau of Prisons, FCC Florence - Products Requested: - 2,900 units of Finger (Hot Dog) rolls - 8,500 units of Sandwich (Hamburger) rolls - 30,000 units of whole wheat sliced sandwich bread loaves (22-24 oz, minimum 22 slices) - Product Specifications: - All bread must be enriched, whole wheat, pan baked, sliced, fresh, and seedless - Must comply with federal food regulations and National Menu Specifications - Agricultural practice: Conventional - Weekly deliveries required, Monday through Friday (excluding federal holidays) - Bread must be delivered within 48 hours after baking - No specific OEMs or brands are named; vendors must meet federal commercial item descriptions (CID A-A-20053C and CID A-A-20052C) - Notable Requirements: - Minimum weekly deliveries - Strict freshness and compliance standards - No handwritten bids accepted; pricing must include shipping - Past performance weighted equally with price in evaluation - Payment via EFT or Government Purchase Card

Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex, Florence, CO intends to issue solicitation, for the acquisition of Bread for delivery to the Federal Correctional Complex, Florence, CO. This acquisition has no set-aside. Terms are FOB Destination, full delivery must be completed by December 31, 2026, the contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right to award to responsible vendor(s) whose offer, conforms to the solicitation, and is considered to be most advantageous to the Government. Past performance will be considered approximately equal in value to price. Past Performance (poor past performance, failure to deliver awarded items in the past, not meeting required specifications, etc.), may result with the vendors’ quotes being considered as a non-responsible vendor. Please include shipping in all pricing. The solicitation will be made available on or about September 9, 2026, and will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities website: www.sam.gov All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments and awards, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation.
