Description

The City of Moncton is seeking proposals from qualified professional consulting firms with experience in mechanical engineering, arena HVAC and heating systems, refrigeration heat recovery, energy efficiency, building controls, and related building-system upgrades. The consultant will assess the existing heating and HVAC infrastructure at the Moncton Coliseum and complete an Investment Analysis Report evaluating four heating system scenarios. The analysis will consider capital and lifecycle costs, energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, operating and maintenance requirements, reliability, maintainability, risks, regulatory requirements, and overall value to the City. Subject to authorization, the consultant will also provide design and implementation services for the selected option, including conceptual design, tender documents, construction administration, and commissioning support.
