Description

The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) proposes to relinquish the State's entitlement land selection of the surface estate, retaining oil, gas, and mineral interests, for a Native Allotment near the Alagnak River and southeast of Levelock, Alaska. This action facilitates conveyance of Dingell Act allotment application AA-98045, covering approximately 160 acres currently under Federal management. The 2019 Dingell Act allows eligible Alaska Native Vietnam Veterans to apply for allotments from state-selected lands that the State agrees to relinquish. Public comments on this proposed relinquishment are invited until October 26, 2026, with decisions to follow without further notice.
