Description

The Department of Natural Resources, Division of Mining, Land and Water has issued a Preliminary Decision to vacate portions of two 33-foot section-line easements within Lot 6, U.S. Survey 3208, Fairbanks Recording District, Alaska. The easements proposed for vacation are located entirely within the boundary of Lot 6 and fall within Sections 5 and 6, T6S, R5E, Fairbanks Meridian. The public is invited to comment on the decision by October 8, 2026. The vacation is contingent upon the provision of an alternate access route via Salcha Drive, which has been reviewed and deemed acceptable by the Fairbanks North Star Borough and other agencies.
