Nevada is seeking qualified vendors to deliver statewide employee drug and alcohol testing services for multiple state agencies and authorized clients. - Government Buyer: - Nevada State Purchasing Division (Statewide Contract) - Department of Administration, Purchasing Division - Services Requested: - Comprehensive drug and alcohol testing for employees and authorized clients - Testing circumstances: pre-employment, reasonable suspicion, return-to-work, follow-up, random, post-accident/post-incident - Specimen collection methods: urine, breath, blood, oral fluid, hair - Laboratory analysis and confirmation testing - Medical Review Officer (MRO) services - Mandatory drug panel: marijuana, cocaine, opiates, amphetamines, phencyclidine, MDMA, and other specified substances - Alcohol testing using NHTSA-certified breath devices or blood draws - Chain-of-custody procedures, confidentiality safeguards, and quality assurance - Quarterly and monthly reporting, expert testimony, and FMCSA program support - Unique Requirements: - Statewide service coverage across multiple Nevada locations - Compliance with federal (FMCSA, HHS/SAMHSA, NHTSA) and state (NRS, NAC) regulations - 24/7/365 service availability in certain locations - Ability to monitor and implement changes in laws and regulations during contract term - Robust scheduling and reporting systems - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; opportunity is open to all qualified providers - Contract Structure: - Multiple contracts may be awarded to ensure adequate coverage - Initial term of two years with two optional one-year renewals
