FCC Florence, part of the Federal Bureau of Prisons, is seeking small business suppliers for a wide range of certified Kosher and Halal food items for the first quarter of fiscal year 2027. - Government Buyer: - Federal Bureau of Prisons, FCC Florence Central Warehouse - Products Requested: - Certified Halal and Kosher meals, including hot entrees, dry items, condiments, and beverages - Specific meal types: fish fillet, beef goulash, beef pot roast, roasted chicken breast, chicken chow mein, turkey cutlet, meatballs, omelets, luncheon meats, vegetarian options, lasagna, stuffed peppers, eggplant creole, tuna, sardines, cereal, oatmeal, vegetable juice, potato chips, mustard, peanut butter - Quantities range from 120 to 100,000 units per item - All items must have appropriate religious certification markings (halal or kosher) on individual packages - Compliance with federal food safety and allergen labeling regulations required - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Delivery must be completed within 30 days after award, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–1:30 PM (excluding federal holidays) - Past performance is weighted equally with price in evaluation - Vendors must be registered in SAM.gov with complete representations and certifications - Shipping must be included in all pricing; payment via EFT or Government Purchase Card - Stringent DOJ privacy and security requirements for handling sensitive information - No specific OEMs or branded vendors are named; products must meet certification and regulatory standards.

Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex, Florence, CO intends to issue solicitation, for the acquisition of various Kosher and Halal items for delivery to the Federal Correctional Complex, Florence, CO. This acquisition is set aside for small businesses. Terms are FOB Destination, full delivery must be completed 30 days after the award is made, the contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right to award to responsible vendor(s) whose offer, conforms to the solicitation, and is considered to be most advantageous to the Government. Past performance will be considered approximately equal in value to price. Past Performance (poor past performance, failure to deliver awarded items in the past, not meeting required specifications, etc.), may result with the vendors’ quotes being considered as a non-responsible vendor. Please include shipping in all pricing. The solicitation will be made available on or about September 9, 2026 and will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities website: www.sam.gov All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments and awards, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation.
