Description

The Ocean County Board of Commissioners is requesting proposals from qualified nonprofit organizations to provide transportation services for the Division of Family Development (DFD) Work First New Jersey (WFNJ) Transportation Program. The program aims to assist eligible Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) participants who face transportation barriers that limit their ability to engage in employment-directed activities or accept employment. Services include case management, provision of safe vehicles, driver education, vehicle insurance, repair, and emergency transportation. The contract term is from January 1, 2027, to June 30, 2028, with options for renewal.
