The Village of Memramcook, New Brunswick, is seeking bids for the full reconstruction of approximately 1,500 meters of Rue Saint-Thomas Street, from Rue Centrale Street (Route 925) to Royal Road (Route 106). - Government Buyer: - Village of Memramcook, Engineering and Municipal Operations - Contact: Mr. Arthur Austin, P. Eng., Director of Engineering and Municipal Operations - Scope of Work: - Full removal and replacement of existing asphalt and roadway materials - Reconstruction of road structure, including new granular subbase and base - Placement of new 100mm Type B and 40mm Type D asphalt (2,800 tonnes and 900 tonnes, respectively) - Shoulder work, guiderail removal and reinstatement (500m), and site restoration - Storm drainage improvements, including 16 precast 1500mm storm manholes and a 600mm Red Valve Checkmate UltraFlex inline check valve - Sanitary sewer modifications, including 16 sections of 300mm sanitary sewer pipe and a 1200mm sanitary manhole - Restoration of gravel (500 tonnes) and asphalt (750 tonnes) driveways - Line painting and installation of geotechnical/filter fabric - Products and Materials: - All materials must be new and suitable for municipal water systems - Asphalt mixes (WMA-D, WMA-B), granular subbase/base, geotechnical fabric, and Red Valve check valve specified - Notable OEM: - Red Valve (Checkmate UltraFlex inline check valve, 600mm) - Compliance: - All work must meet Village of Memramcook Standard Municipal Specifications and New Brunswick Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (NBDTI) Standard Specifications for Highway Construction - Contractor Responsibilities: - Signage, detour routing, and restoration to original or better condition - Adherence to technical specifications for materials and construction methods

Description

This solicitation is for the full reconstruction of approximately 1,500 meters of Rue Saint-Thomas Street, from Rue Centrale Street (Route 925) to Royal Road (Route 106) in the Village of Memramcook, New Brunswick. The work includes removal of existing asphalt and roadway materials, reconstruction of the road structure, placement of new base and surface asphalt, shoulder work, guiderail replacement, and site restoration. Additionally, improvements to the storm drainage system at Rue LeBlanc Street and modifications to the sanitary sewer system on Rue Grande-Pré are included.
