Description

This presolicitation notice is for the purchase of two (2) Prime Mover utility vehicles for use by 726 AMS at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany in support of flightline operations.

The Prime Movers must be capable of towing a 4,000-pound Latrine Servicing Cart using a pintle-hook connection, while sustaining a minimum speed of 5 MPH during towing operations, and must seat two personnel. At a minimum, each Prime Mover shall meet the following requirements: Prime Mover Requirements

• Minimum two-passenger seating capacity • Safety restraints (seatbelts) • Lights, turn signals/hazard lights, horn, and rearview mirrors • Hitch receiver integrated with a heavy-duty pintle-hook connection rated for a minimum towing load of 4,000 pounds • Minimum towing capability of 4,000 pounds and the ability to safely sustain a speed of at least 5 MPH while towing • Diesel engine • Automatic transmission • New and unused condition at time of delivery • Two complete sets of keys • One set of operator and maintenance manuals upon delivery • Standard commercial warranty, with the warranty period beginning upon Government acceptance

Each Prime Mover shall be delivered with applicable operator, safety, maintenance, parts, and warranty documentation. The Contractor shall provide the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance schedule and ensure all manufacturer-required safety and warning labels are installed at the time of delivery. The above characteristics reflect the Government’s minimum requirements. Quoters shall identify any installed cellular modem, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, camera, telematics, remote diagnostic, cloud-connected, or other wireless or data-transmitting capability included with the proposed vehicle. As guidance, the Government will accept quotations for the John Deere Gator XUV 875, brand name or equal.
