Description

The Ottawa Resource Advisory Committee (RAC) will hold a public meeting on October 6, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Central Daylight Time. The meeting will be held both in person at the Watersmeet District Office in Michigan and virtually via Microsoft Teams. The committee operates under the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self-Determination Act and provides advice and recommendations to the Forest Service on projects and funding consistent with Title II of the Act. It also makes recommendations on recreation fee proposals for sites on the Ottawa National Forest in accordance with the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act.
