Description

History Colorado intends to repatriate a cultural item classified as an unassociated funerary object with cultural affiliation to Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations. The item is a beaded cradleboard removed from a grave near Ashland, Montana, donated in 1960. The repatriation may occur on or after October 9, 2026. Requests for repatriation must be submitted in writing to the authorized representative at History Colorado.
