Description

Princeton University has completed an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects under the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). The inventory identified human remains of at least one individual and two associated funerary objects, a snuff box and a drum. These items have a cultural affiliation with the Sitka Tribe of Alaska. Repatriation of these remains and objects may occur on or after October 9, 2026, and requests for repatriation must be sent to the authorized representative at Princeton University.
