Watershed Planning Services for Nassau and St. Marys River Basins

Description

Nassau County Board of County Commissioners is seeking proposals from qualified agencies to provide watershed planning services for the development of Watershed Master Plans for the Nassau River Basin and St. Marys River Basin. The projects are funded through the Florida Division of Emergency Management Hazard Mitigation Grant Program and must comply with FEMA requirements. The awarded bidder will provide professional services including technical analyses, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, mapping, public and stakeholder coordination, reporting, and deliverables to develop comprehensive Watershed Master Plans. These plans will identify flood risks, evaluate watershed conditions, assess impacts of development, climate change, and sea level rise, and recommend mitigation strategies to improve community resilience.
