Garland Independent School District (GISD) is seeking proposals for a broad range of professional staff development, consultant services, and instructional materials across all departments and grade levels. - Government Buyer: - Garland Independent School District (GISD) - Purchasing Department, led by Mark A. Booker, Executive Director of Purchasing - Scope of Services: - Professional development and consulting services for areas including Adult Learner Practices, Advanced Academics, Curriculum & Instruction (Math, Science, Reading Language Arts, Social Studies, LOTE), Special Education, Technology Integration, Visual & Performing Arts, and more - Instructional materials for training and consulting, with vendors asked to provide percentage discounts - Pricing requested per full day, half day (4 hours), and hourly rates, including travel expenses - Additional roles such as keynote speakers, accompanists, clinicians, judges, and choreographers - Unique Requirements: - Mandatory fingerprinting and background checks for all employees visiting GISD campuses - Vendors must demonstrate at least one year of professional experience - Compliance with federal procurement standards (CFR Part 200 200.317-200.327) - Contract may supersede existing agreements under the same scope - Contract Details: - Initial term of one year, with four annual renewal options - Estimated annual contract value: $300,000 - Multiple awards possible, incremental throughout the solicitation period - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; open to all qualified providers - Vendors encouraged to submit proposals electronically via Oracle iSourcing module
