Description

The Government is issuing this Sources Sought notice as part of a market research effort to identify capable sources that can supply replacement analytical instrumentation for the Petroleum Quality Analysis System-Enhanced (PQAS-E) utilized by the 209th Aviation Support Battalion (209th ASB), 25th Combat Aviation Brigade (25th CAB).

The PQAS-E is a self-contained, mobile fuel laboratory designed to test and measure the quality of kerosene-based military mobility fuels and aviation turbine fuels in accordance with Military Standard 3004C (MIL-STD-3004C). The required hardware must fit within the physical dimensions, power constraints, and software parameters of the existing PQAS-E Shelter System and Computer Data Acquisition (CDA) subsystem.

The Government’s primary objective through this market research is to determine whether a single vendor is capable of providing the complete PQAS-E requirement, including all required parts, equipment, components, accessories, and incidental support services. Vendors are requested to clearly state whether they can satisfy the entire requirement. If unable to provide the full requirement, vendors shall identify with specificity the exact items, components, and/or services they are able to furnish.
