Professional Services for VA Community Care Billing Code Set Development and Delivery

The Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Veterans Community Care is seeking professional services for the development, maintenance, and delivery of VA-approved Community Care Referral Guidelines (CCRG)-aligned VA Code Sets. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs - Office of Veterans Community Care - No specific Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or commercial vendors are named in the documents. - Services Requested: - Development, refinement, validation, maintenance, and delivery of comprehensive billing code sets aligned with VA Community Care Referral Guidelines - Tasks include project kickoff, mapping methodology, pilot and full code set development, routine maintenance, quality assurance, discrepancy management, reporting, and governance support - Deliverables include pilot packages, scheduled code set releases, benchmark data, and comprehensive reviews - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Code sets must support clinical referrals, adjudication, and payment processes for VA Community Care - Routine maintenance and quarterly scheduled releases throughout the contract - Quality assurance and governance are integral to the service - Period of Performance: - Base period plus four option years, with ongoing maintenance and quarterly deliverables

Description

Purpose

In accordance with the FAR 15.201(e) this is a Request for Information (RFI) to determine the availability and technical capabilities of qualified sources capable of developing, maintaining, and regularly delivering comprehensive billing code sets.

VA is not, at this time, seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals.  All responses shall be solely in the form of information.

Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.  The Government is under no obligation to issue a solicitation or to award any contract on the basis of this RFI.  All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be the sole responsibility of the respondent.

All submissions will be treated as business confidential materials, become Government property, and will not be returned.
