The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), under the Division of Seafood Science and Technology and the Division of Food Processing Science and Technology, is soliciting quotes for two complete Gas Chromatograph with Mass Selective Detector (GC/MSD) systems. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) - Division of Seafood Science and Technology and Division of Food Processing Science and Technology - Office of Acquisitions and Grants Services (OAGS) - Products Requested: - Two GC/MSD systems, each including: - Capillary split/splitless inlet - Electronic pneumatic control - All necessary hardware components - Auto-injectors - Updated mass spectral libraries - Software and computer hardware - One-year full warranty (unlimited on-site service, factory-certified parts, software updates) - Shipping and delivery to two locations: Dauphin Island, AL and Laurel, MD - Services Requested: - Analyst familiarization training at installation and one year of phone support (per system) - Detailed specialist training for method development and application (minimum three days per system) - Unique Requirements: - Delivery required within 90 days after contract award - Warranty must cover all non-consumable items and parts, with rapid response for service - Training must be provided both at installation and for specialized applications - No specific OEMs or brands are named; vendors must supply systems meeting detailed technical specifications. - Notable: Both hardware and comprehensive support/training are required for each system.
