Description
633 CONS has a requirement for crash phone fiber optic converters.
The contractor shall provide an Air Traffic Control (ATC) Enhanced Terminal Voice System (ETVS) analog-to-fiber communications conversion system. The system must support the emergency crash phone function by enabling ATC to simultaneously notify all five first-responder facilities, thereby reducing notification time, accelerating emergency response, and supporting flight safety.
This capability eliminates the need for ATC personnel to contact each first-responder facility individually during an emergency. TC Communications will provide the required fiber-optic converters. The 1 OSS/RAWS and 633 CS will install, configure, and connect all associated equipment.
