Interior Finish Abatement and Removal Services at FCI Bastrop

The Federal Bureau of Prisons at FCI Bastrop, Texas, is seeking a contractor for abatement and removal of water-damaged interior finishes in four buildings. - Government Buyer: - Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution Bastrop - Scope of Work: - Removal and disposal of approximately: - 23,500 sq ft of gypsum wallboard - 5,500 sq ft of gypsum ceilings - 1,100 sq ft of suspended ceilings - 1,200 sq ft of wood paneling - Abatement, demolition, and disposal of interior finishes including drywall, ceilings, wood paneling, flooring, insulation, and microbial-contaminated materials - No restoration or replacement work; removal only - Technical and Safety Requirements: - Compliance with OSHA, EPA, and Bureau of Prisons safety standards - Handling and disposal of hazardous materials (mold, lead-based paint, asbestos) - Negative-air containment, HEPA filtration, and final clearance testing - Contract Details: - Firm fixed price contract - Project duration: 210 calendar days from Notice to Proceed - Liquidated damages for delays: $1,412.16 per day - Monthly progress invoicing required - Compliance with DOJ security, privacy, and labor clauses - No specific OEMs or product part numbers are mentioned; all materials and equipment must meet regulatory standards - All technical specifications and requirements are detailed in the attached Statement of Work and related documents

WAGE DETERMINATION FOR BASTROP COUNTY, TX HAS BEEN ADDED IN THE ATTACHMENTS SECTION.

Completed quotes may be submitted electronically via e-mail to l4mitchell@bop.gov.  All responsible sources must submit a typed quote on the attached specification sheet (RFQ, – SF 1449 15B50126Q00000014 Replace Interior Finish), which will be considered for award. Do not submit multiple quote request.
