The Ashley National Forest is proposing to establish two recreation fee sites. The proposed fees collected at these sites and for a proposed special recreation permit would be used for operation, maintenance, and improvement of the sites and the special recreation use covered by the permit. The fees are analyzed to be reasonable and typical of similar sites in the area. Additionally, the Cleveland National Forest is proposing two special recreation permits with fees to enhance recreation opportunities, improve customer service, and address maintenance needs.
