The Rural Utilities Service (RUS), a Rural Development Agency of the USDA, is soliciting Letters of Interest for loan applications under the Powering Affordable Reliable Technology (PART) Energy Program. The program provides approximately $410 million in funding to finance power generation projects for Renewable Energy Resource (RER) systems or Energy Storage Systems (ESS) that support RER projects. Eligible applicants include operating utilities such as for-profit organizations, state or local governments, Indian Tribes, Alaska Native Corporations, nonprofits, and electric cooperatives. Letters of Interest can be submitted from September 8, 2026, to October 9, 2026.
