United Independent School District (UISD) in Laredo, Texas is seeking qualified contractors for district-wide maintenance, repair, and upgrades of utility lines and related infrastructure. - Government Buyer: - United Independent School District (UISD) - Facilities Maintenance & Operations Office - Contact: Mr. Dorian Gutierrez - Products & Materials Requested: - Water lines (Type L or K copper) - Sanitary sewer lines (PVC Schedule 40 or PVC SDR 26) - Fire lines, hydrants, backflow preventers - Storm drain connections (sizes 4, 6, 8, 10, 12) - Sanitary and storm sewer manholes or boxes - All materials and equipment must be new and unused unless otherwise specified - Services Requested: - District-wide maintenance, repair, and upgrades of utility lines - Installation and infrastructure improvements for water, sewer, and storm drain systems - Contractors must provide all labor, tools, materials, machinery, equipment, safety apparatus, and incidentals - Unique & Notable Requirements: - Compliance with local municipal codes and OSHA trench safety standards - Texas Education Code background checks and fingerprinting - Strict insurance requirements (minimum coverage levels and AM Best rating) - Vendors must demonstrate quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction - Three professional references required - Attendance at pre-construction and final walk-through meetings - Work must not disrupt educational or administrative operations - Adherence to district policies regarding safety, attire, and site cleanliness - All work is performed on an as-needed basis with firm pricing for the contract period.

Description

United ISD is requesting proposals from qualified vendors to provide facilities concrete or asphalt pavement improvements district-wide.
