Lexington County's Economic Development Department is seeking a contractor for comprehensive landscaping services at Saxe Gotha Industrial Park. - Government Buyer: - Lexington County, Economic Development Department, Procurement Services - Scope of Services: - Routine turf mowing (March–October: every 2 weeks, 18 times/year; November–February: every 4 weeks, 4 times/year) - Weed control in landscape beds, fence lines, gravel areas, and hardscape cracks - Litter and debris removal from turf, beds, sidewalks, parking edges, and entrances - Tree pruning and trimming (annual, following ANSI A300 standards, December–February) - Shrub trimming in common areas and entrances - Detention pond and stormwater feature maintenance (quarterly) - Pest control and fertilizing (as needed, by licensed applicators) - Grass seeding/overseeding (April–June, as needed) - Mulch bed maintenance (bed line definition, weed removal, mulch replenishment) - Leaf and lawn trimmings removal - Notable Requirements: - All pesticide applications must be performed by licensed South Carolina Commercial Pesticide Applicators - Tree pruning over 6" DBH requires an ISA Certified Arborist or equivalent - Contractor must replace any damaged turf or plant materials due to improper maintenance at no additional cost - Emphasis on sustainable, resource-efficient maintenance - Adherence to detailed service schedules and site boundaries - No specific OEMs or product manufacturers are named, as this is a service-based solicitation - Contractors must provide qualified, trained staff and comply with all insurance and licensing requirements

Description

The County of Lexington is soliciting proposals for landscaping services at the Saxe Gotha Industrial Park for their Economic Development Department. The scope includes maintaining the property to be well manicured and presentable at all times, free of weeds in plant/tree beds, mulched/pine straw areas, and hard surfaces, and litter free upon completion of each visit. The entire property must be serviced within a week's timeframe. The contractor is expected to comply with landscaping standards and specifications and provide qualified staff with appropriate licenses and training.
