This opportunity from the U.S. Air Force, 22nd Civil Engineer Squadron at McConnell Air Force Base, seeks a contractor for the replacement of underground storage tank (UST) containment sumps at the Shoppette (Building 314). - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, 22nd Civil Engineer Squadron (22 CES), McConnell AFB, Kansas - Scope of Work: - Removal and disposal of three existing STP secondary containment sumps - Supply and installation of three new 42-inch diameter, heavy-duty, two-piece fiberglass/polyethylene deep-burial STP secondary containment sumps - Installation of new tank mounting flanges, flexible pipe entry boots (12 total), internal emergency ball valves (3 total), and H-20 traffic-rated composite/steel manhole rings and lids (3 total) - Integration of rigid explosion-proof electrical conduits and fittings compliant with NFPA 30A / NFPA 70 Class 1, Division 1 - Concrete restoration using 4,000 PSI high-early-strength concrete - Environmental and operational testing, including hydrostatic tightness testing, line pressure and tank tightness tests, and certified test report submission - Notable Requirements: - Contractor must be KDHE licensed and comply with EPA, KDHE, NFPA, and Air Force safety standards - No use of Class I ozone-depleting substances - One-year workmanship warranty required - Work must be completed within 30 calendar days from Notice to Proceed, with on-site construction estimated at 4 consecutive business days during standard work hours - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or brands are named; products must be compatible with existing 12,000-gallon double-wall fiberglass UST collar assemblies - Quantities: - 3 containment sumps, 3 tank mounting flanges, 12 pipe entry boots, 3 emergency ball valves, 3 manhole rings/lids - Services: - Removal/disposal, installation/integration, environmental/operational testing, and site/concrete restoration - Unique Requirements: - Contractor must coordinate dewatering, utility isolation, and provide certified testing by KDHE-licensed technician - All work must comply with federal, state, and Air Force environmental and safety standards

This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and quotes are being requested. This solicitation document, which incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items, are those in effect through the DAF Contracting Compass. In order to be considered for award, offerors shall return a copy of this solicitation with all representations filled in. Offerors may elect to use their representations in SAM.gov to fill this requirement. Offers shall be submitted in pdf format and are limited to 5 pages.

The Government has a requirement for the purchase, installation, and testing of UST Containment Sumps at McConnell AFB.

Site visits may be accommodated for upon request.
