NASA Langley Research Center is seeking to procure the Kratos Ultraspec CobotScan System, an advanced ultrasonic inspection solution for thick and highly attenuative materials. - Procurement is for one complete UltraSpec System from Kratos SRE, Inc., the sole source provider - Includes C1200 UltraSpec Unit, Cobot & Control Unit (UR12e substituted for UR7e), Laser Scanner Assembly, two Transducer Kits (0.5-2 MHz and 0.25-2 MHz), UltraSpec Software Suite (AcquireTM and AnalyzeTM seats), Advanced Interpretation Module, high-performance laptop - Shipping, on-site installation, 2-day on-site training, and a 1-year standard warranty are included - NASA is requesting capability statements from vendors by 9/11/2026; quotes are not being solicited at this stage - The procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 12 commercial item procedures, NAICS code 541330 - Performance will occur at NASA Langley Research Center, with delivery expected 10-12 weeks after order - The UR12e cobot is specified as a substitute for the UR7e model - NASA may consider competition if capability statements demonstrate equivalent solutions - Primary contacts are Cara Craft and Shari Trigg at NASA/NSSC
