• Specific products include ArtiClear Gold, Geomelt 55, Thawrox Clear, CF7 potassium acetate, Ice Ban 200M, Clearlane Enhanced Deicer, and others.
• Vendors must provide product classroom training, telephone technical support, and participate in winter kickoff meetings for MnDOT staff.
• Only authorized distributors or manufacturer representatives may bid; brokers are not allowed.
• Products containing PFAS, triclosan, coal tar, or polybrominated diphenyl ether are prohibited.
• The contract is anticipated to run for one year, with options to extend up to four additional years; estimated annual contract value is $4,000,000.

Description

This solicitation seeks proposals to contract with vendor(s) to provide alternative chemical deicers on an as-needed basis. The contract includes product classroom training, telephone technical support, and winter kickoff meeting requirements. Only products listed on the Mn/DOT Approved Products List and the Exhibit D Price Schedule will be accepted, with no substitutions allowed. Responses must be submitted electronically through the SWIFT Supplier Portal by the specified deadline. The contract term is anticipated from November 1, 2026, to October 31, 2027, with options to extend up to four additional years.
