QUALITY ASSURANCE 4.1 The contractor shall provide an inspection system acceptable to the government, maintaining records of all inspection work. 5. PACKAGING 5.1 Packaging requirements follow MIL-STD-767, MIL-STD-2041, or other specified standards, including the use of MIL-DTL-24466 green poly bags when applicable. Packaging must meet cleanliness controls and other specified conditions. Use of fire-retardant packaging is no longer required. 6. NOTES 6.1 Abbreviations, symbols, and codes on DD Form 1423 are explained, including contract line item number, data category, parent system, request number, offeror name, preparer, approval, distribution statement, and delivery schedule codes. 6.2 Distribution statements inform the contractor of document handling limits, with codes from A to F defining the extent of distribution and safeguarding. 6.3 Nuclear reactor publications and standards are to be requested from specified NAVSUP WSS contacts, with special handling for "Official Use Only" or "Noforn" documents.
