Description
The City of Alabaster is soliciting proposals from qualified insurance brokerage firms to provide comprehensive property and casualty insurance brokerage, risk-management, loss-control, policy-administration, and claims-advocacy services. The selected broker will serve as the City’s strategic insurance advisor and day-to-day service partner, focusing on relationship-based service, direct access to personnel, proactive communication, regional response, and active claims advocacy. Services include evaluation of existing insurance, renewal planning, policy placement, claims support, risk management, property valuation, coverage analysis, loss-control, contract review, and recommendations on municipal exposures such as property, vehicles, workers’ compensation, public officials, law enforcement, cyber liability, and tax revenue loss. The contract is expected to last three years with up to two additional one-year renewals.
