Description
The City and Borough of Juneau (CBJ) is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to provide design services for the Glacier Highway (Ross Way 6 Salmon Creek) Water Main Replacement project. The consultant will provide bid-ready construction plans, specifications, engineers estimate, a technical memo for pipe size selection, and a two-season construction phasing plan. The project involves replacing an aging and undersized ductile iron water main, designing replacement waterline crossings beneath Egan Drive, and replacing deteriorated wastewater collection system segments. The work is expected to be completed over two summer construction seasons prior to a State DOT road reconstruction project anticipated in 2029.
