Sound Transit is seeking responses from qualified sources on strategies that could reduce project cost or speed delivery of the Ballard Link Extension (BLE) through innovative technologies. The strategies should complement the existing environmental review process and avoid additional disruption or delay. This Request for Information (RFI) is for information and planning purposes only, and no contract will be awarded as a result. The project involves connecting Chinatown-International District and downtown Seattle with the Interbay and Ballard neighborhoods, including a new light rail tunnel in downtown Seattle.
