This project involves the construction of safety fencing along the existing dedicated path of travel from the drop-off area to the entry gate of Grant Grover school courtyard to protect students from flying baseballs from the adjacent baseball field. There are two alternates: Alternate No. 1 includes providing a Gameshade dugout shade structure with associated lighting and concrete paving instead of the westernmost segment of the protective chain-link tunnel. Alternate No. 2 involves submitting a proposal to reduce the overall project duration with details on construction methods and any changes in contract price. Bidders must have a valid California Contractor's License (Classification A or B) and comply with bond and DIR registration requirements.
