The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District, is seeking qualified partners for a cooperative agreement to monitor American crocodile populations in southern estuaries as part of hydrologic restoration efforts under the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP). - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District (Department of the Army) - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named; this is a scientific research and monitoring opportunity - Products/Services Requested: - Field surveys and monitoring of American crocodiles in Biscayne Bay, Florida Bay, and the southwest coast - Annual and quarterly data analysis and reporting on crocodile density, growth, survival, and nesting success - Participation in RECOVER regional team meetings and site visits - Optional tasks include performance measure updates, monitoring methodology review, system status report development, and spatial expansion of surveys - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Applicants must be members of the Cooperative Ecosystem Study Units (CESU) in Gulf Coast, Piedmont-South Atlantic Coast, or South Florida Caribbean regions - Demonstrated expertise in biology, ecology, or environmental science; PhD preferred - Direct experience with American crocodile sampling and Everglades ecology - Active NIST SP 800-171 DoD assessment within the last three years - Period of Performance: - Base period of 12 months, with up to four additional 12-month follow-on periods - Optional tasks may extend up to 24 months if exercised - Estimated Contract Value: - Funding range from $143,325 to $791,961
