Salt Lake City Corporation is seeking prequalified general contractors for major irrigation system renovations at Rose Park and Nibley Park Golf Courses. - Government Buyer: - Salt Lake City Corporation, Department of Public Services, Architecture and Construction Management Division - Scope of Work: - Replacement of existing golf course irrigation systems at Rose Park and Nibley Park - Installation of new irrigation mainlines, service feeds, laterals, and heads - Construction of a two-staged settling pond with clay-sealed liners and inlet/outlet structures - Installation of factory-built, skid-mounted pump stations and wet wells, including all associated electrical work and piping - Turf reduction and phased construction to minimize disruption to playable turf - Contractor Requirements: - Demonstrated experience with large-scale golf course irrigation systems, including HDPE/PVC pipe installation and decoder-based 2-wire equipment - Experience with equilateral triangle grid layouts for rotors - Ability to produce accurate as-built documentation using GIS and AutoCAD - Supervisory staff must have at least five years of relevant golf course irrigation construction experience - Staff performing wiring and HDPE fusion must have recent certifications from Paige Wire Co and AquaFuse or other approved manufacturers - Estimated Value: - Combined project value is approximately $8.5 million - Only prequalified contractors will be eligible to bid on the subsequent construction contracts
