Description

Commander Submarine forces Command (COMSUBLANT) conducts required operational communications via VTC systems throughout command spaces. USFF provides a backbone IP network and local manpower in support of COMSUBLANT's VTC Systems. USFF's Authority to Operate (ATO) the supporting IP network requires replacement of COMSUBLANT EOL equipment. Upgrade to compatible devices within each VTC room is required for reliable VTC services.

The Specified Equipment must be purchased and delivered to replace End-of-Life (EOL) equipment to prevent unacceptable VTC system failures. Requesting the acquisition of the equipment and parts as described in solicitation.

The Government intends to evaluate and award a FFP purchase order on initial quotes; therefore, the Vendor's initial quote should containthe Vendor's best terms from a price standpoint. Total price will be evaluated taking into the account the total FFP for the period of performance. The Government may evaluate any and all information submitted by the vendor to support the reasonableness of prices quoted. The method of evaluation used by the Contracting Officer is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
