Grand Prairie Independent School District (GPISD) is seeking to qualify vendors for a wide range of future purchases and services. - Purpose: Establish an approved vendor list for grocery items, retail merchandise, meal services, catering, and related services - No specific products, part numbers, or quantities are requested at this stage; vendors will be eligible for future procurement opportunities - OEMs: No specific Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) are named in the solicitation - Vendors: No specific vendors are named; open to all qualified suppliers - Products/services requested: - Grocery items - Retail merchandise - Meal services and catering - Professional services (consultation, educational entertainment, development) - Event coverage (insurance for events, entertainment, rentals, carnivals) - Construction and repair services (insurance requirements) - Transportation services (charter bus insurance) - Performance services (speakers, presenters, entertainers) - Subcontractor services (insurance for independent contractors) - Unique requirements: - Vendors must provide a current Certificate of Insurance (COI) for activities on district property - Insurance coverage must include general liability, auto liability, workers’ compensation, and additional endorsements as applicable - Event holders must obtain specialized insurance for events on GPISD property - Participation is open to other governmental entities via interlocal agreements with EPCNT and CTPA - Vendors who responded to RFP 24-01 do not need to reapply - No fixed end date; this is a non-expiring, open-ended qualifying RFP - Contracts exceeding $50,000 have additional insurance requirements
