Ohio Deaf & Blind Education Services - Early Intervention Program (EIVIO) is seeking Teachers of the Visually Impaired to provide birth–3 early intervention vision services as independent contractors in southeast Ohio, covering Tuscarawas to Gallia counties. The contractor will conduct functional evaluations for the blind, participate in Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) development, provide direct vision services, and consult with the early intervention team. Monthly team meetings and trainings are required, and some travel is involved. Contractors must hold certification as a Teacher of Children who are Visually Impaired (TVI) or as a Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS).
