Valley Metro Rail, Inc. plans to execute a sole-source contract with Kinkisharyo International, LLC for the repair of one of its light rail vehicles (LRV number 142) that was extensively damaged in an accident resulting in derailment. The repair requires adherence to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) standards, including disassembly and reassembly.
