Description

The Division of Insurance will hold a public hearing to solicit public testimony regarding the types of insurance for which insureds generally are unable to secure coverage from admitted insurers. The purpose is for the director to issue an order updating the surplus lines placement list under 3 AAC 25.040. The hearing will be held at Wedgewood Resort in Fairbanks, Alaska, on October 21, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Interested persons may present oral or written statements, with written comments due by October 28, 2026.
