Description
The City of Fountain Valley is seeking proposals for Surge Basic Life Support (BLS) Ambulance Service to provide supplemental BLS ambulance transport support when activated by the Fountain Valley Fire Department (FVFD). This service is limited exclusively to BLS-level ambulance transport; FVFD will continue to provide Advanced Life Support (ALS) first-response care. The contract is anticipated to have an initial term of three years with up to two optional one-year extensions, for a maximum of five years. Proposals must be submitted electronically via PlanetBids by October 1, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. PST.
